If you would like to post any jobs or internships related to Urban and Regional Planning, contact Lou Ecken ([email protected]), the Career Coordinator for Taubman College, who maintains a comprehensive database of job and internship opportunities that students can access at any time. Students she reaches are primarily masters students in urban planning, urban design and architecture will skills in GIS/mapping, quantitative and qualitative research methods, graphic design, and technical skills in diverse content areas ranging from environmental and land use planning to housing and real estate development, economic development, community development, transportation, health planning, and food systems planning.

Food systems jobs and internships |
If you want to post any jobs specific to food systems, I am connected to several Michigan and National listservs that reach professionals, undergraduates and graduate students will skills in all backgrounds related to food systems (urban planning, public health, agroecology, social work, business, etc.). If you are interested in advertising a job or internship specifically for a University of Michigan student interested in food systems, you can also contact the University of Michigan Student Food Program directly, which is a student-led umbrella group that manages a weekly newsletter sent out to hundreds of students at the University of Michigan interested in food systems, most of whom are involved in one of a dozen food groups on campus. Jobs requiring more experience or higher level training can also be advertised through the faculty-managed UM Sustainable Food Systems Initiative.
